Our soft-rate coil springs are the perfect blend of a soft ride, high performance, and great control. Resist buying into the Progressive or Multi rate fancy name hype, as these are single rate LINEAR coils for a reason. Ask around and you'll find these are the best riding highest quality coils you can get. Progressive and multirate coils DO have their place, as long as space constraints and suspension travel numbers can work together. Working with what Dodge gave us, we find that linear rate coils function and ride the best!
Starting in 2013 on the radius arm platform, Ram decided to design the front coil spring mounts at an angle. This presents some issues with the coils design, as the coil has a very hard time standing straight without a massive bend in the coil, when loaded. This might be why the OEM coils are so stiff. Stiff coils will bend less. Regardless, with some tricky engineering we were able to combat the angled seats, and design a coil which stands very straight installed.
2500 trucks with coil springs in the rear have a 2.75"-2.8" rake so our 2.75" coils will put the truck dead level, this can make the truck look a little taller in the front then the rear. On the 3500 trucks they have a 2.25"-2.3" rake so the 2.25" coils will put them dead level again possibly making it appear slightly taller in the front due to the body design.
